Product Details

Easy-to-use, the InfraLab requires no special operator skills, and takes just 5 seconds to make the analysis.

The InfraLab e-Series At-Line Moisture Analyzer from NDC provides rapid accurate measurement of moisture in a wide variety of products presented in powder, flake or granule form.

Easy-to-use, the InfraLab requires no special operator skills, and takes just 5 seconds to make the analysis.

Using multi-wavelength NIR reflection, the InfraLab does not require contact with the product sample. The sample dish is placed  on the turntable; the InfraLab automatically recognizes that it has been placed there and begins the analysis.

The InfraLab has its own substantial onboard data storage capacity (up to 10,000 sample files), but data can also be downloaded periodically to a USB memory stick or directly to a PC for analysis in a spreadsheet or other software. Alternatively, it connects via Ethernet to a networked PC where the data is stored and displayed and can also be integrated into a LIMS network.

How it Works

Using multi-wavelength NIR (near infrared) reflection, the InfraLab does not require contact with the product sample.  Samples are simply presented in the sample bowl; the InfraLab then automatically recognizes the presence of the sample and starts its measurement sequence. In just 5 seconds, the measurements are displayed clearly on the screen.

Replacement for Laboratory Methods

The InfraLab e-Series Analyzer features the speed, ease-of-use and, above all, robustness and repeatability that have made the InfraLab so widely used, with features that make replacement of laboratory methods even more convenient:

  • User-configurable multi-lingual interface
  • Pass code protection with configurable user access levels
  • Choice of sample dishes (deep or shallow rotating, or static petri dish)
  • Ethernet and LIMS connectivity
  • On-board storage of 10,000 sample files and fast download to USB memory stick
