In this week’s blog, we meet Tom Hemmelgarn, Technical Product manager for NDC’s Cable and Tube business. Tom was key in the product development and management of our new AccuScan Pro single-axis diameter gauge.

Tom was a key team member in the product development and management of our new AccuScan Pro single-axis diameter gauge. His contributions, both from an engineering and applications standpoint, were invaluable throughout the entire product development process.

As Technical Product Manager, Tom focuses on the product management of the BenchMike Pro, Z-Mike Pro and AccuScan Series gauges – all key offerings to the cable and tube industries. He joined NDC in 2003 with the BETA LaserMike organization and has since been involved in a broad range of measurement challenges across a wide scope of industrial processing applications. Tom has extensive expertise in the metrology market where ultra-accurate, repeatable measurements are critical for the manufacture of high-performance, precision parts.
